Spectral Ways is a multi-room installation where we interact through light with signifiers to discover unseen sightings. One room is illuminated with natural light to evidence possible views, while the other one is illuminated artificially by an intermittent hue to conceal knowledge under the visible spectrum . A “light room”, containing multiple mosaics of infrared images scattered in tables, reveals the purpose of repetiton. A “dark room” displaying copies of a reseach journal on infrared imaging, disguises the reliance on annotations.
